"Hearing what they experienced overseas and knowing what we experience in Oregon and in our classrooms, we saw the clear connection between our work and their work,” - Alisha Chavez, VP of Portland Association of Teachers. Educators and Asian garment workers are about to launch an unprecedented campaign to demand fair taxes and fair wages from @nike . Join us for the launch: http://bit.ly/justsignitlaunch
While @nike pockets billions, Oregon schools go broke and garment workers in Asia make Nike’s products for poverty wages.
This isn’t a coincidence — it’s Nike’s business model.
Oregon educators and garment workers are joining together to say: we know where the money is. It’s time for Nike to Just Sign It.
🗓️RSVP now for our launch event!!! Friday April 24, 7:30pm PST on Zoom >> bit.ly/justsignitlaunch or 🔗in bio

The Health Insurance Town Hall is Monday, 27 April 2026 6-7:30pm in Spencer View Community Room & food will be provided! This interactive town hall will inform members about upcoming changes to our health insurance, which include significant increases to what we pay for health insurance. We want members to understand the changes we’re facing, and the ways in which we can mitigate these increases. We’ll also discuss how these matters will come to play at the bargaining table. Through activities and discussion, we want members to actively participate in making important insurance decisions. We hope to see you there!
