The Warriors and Draymond Green are open to discussing the idea of Green opting out and signing a new two or three year deal, per Brett Siegel. A restructured contract in the range of 18-20 million per season would also give Golden State more flexibility to use its mid level exception to upgrade the roster this offseason.
Green would reportedly have no issue taking less money if it helped the Warriors pursue a major addition like LeBron James or another immediate championship level piece at the start of free agency.
