Thank you Tunnel ⚔️♥️🌴 “The Sleeper has Awakened” - 5/19/2026 - was a shadow puppet show involving a dialogue between Johnny Cash & Carl Jung discussing “Plato’s Cave”. The project was in response to the cave like context of the Tunnel gallery and elaborated upon a true story when Johnny Cash entered the NickaJack Cave in Tennessee with the intent of ending his Life. The performance is 18:00 minutes long. I LOVE MIAMi ♥️⚔️🐊

In 1992 I had the honor to assist Agustín Fernández install his first survey at the FIU Art Museum / little did I know that he would become a mentor and life-long friend 🙏🏽🇨🇺⚔️ his cousin Ramon Osuna was a wonderful collector and Carlos Alfonso’s dealer / his family treated me like an adopted son, I visited him often in NYC while I was a graduate student at RISD and we attended galleries and museums openings like Felix Gonzalez-Torres survey at the Guggenheim in 1995. Aside from being a fine artist Agustín Fernández was a gentlemen, very well read, always well dressed and impeccable manners. Staying friends with his family for 33 years means the world to me 🌎🙏🏽 - his exhibit at the Frost will be up until January 2026 & his legacy deserves it - artist of all ages can learn from his technical virtuosity and conceptual depth that responds profoundly to being an Exiled artist from his homeland Cuba 🇨🇺 Cuba may not be Free but he certainly was, well done Agustín - un caballero sin duda, gracias por haber tomado el tiempo a compartido tanto con migo, espero hacer lo mismo por otras personas como voz me demonstraste 🙏🏽⚔️♥️
