We designed the Get Ready Grips to be as versatile and supportive as possible — for many different hand shapes, strengths, and levels of dexterity.
Each grip has two unique sides: the “bulb” and the “cloud.”
✨ The Cloud side contours around different shapes, making it especially helpful for oblong or square objects — think lipstick tubes or cosmetics. It gives you a little more surface to hold onto, which can mean better comfort and control.
✨ The Bulb side has an easy slide-in opening that works beautifully with pens, pencils, brushes, and markers.
Two shapes, one goal: helping everyday tasks feel easier, steadier, and pain free.

Abilities Expo was our first time getting to show up, in person, and meet you. Not through a screen, but hand to hand, story to story.
We laughed, we listened, we shared, and we watched so many of you try the grips for the first time and light up. Many first time things happened at this booth, and it brought us to tears once we sat back and realized what we got to experience.
As a two woman owned business built from my real life growing up on crutches (Misty Diaz @lilmistydiaz ) and now dealing with my hands cramping more than ever this is exactly one of the reasons we started.
This weekend reminded me… this isn’t just a product. This is community who is getting ready!

Getting to meet so many of you face to face, have real conversations, share our story, and introduce something we’ve truly poured our heart and soul into… it meant everything.
This product was built from real life experiences, struggles and needs, so being able to watch you pick it up, try it, and feel it working in real time… those first moments? We’ll never forget them.
We got honest feedback, beautiful conversations, and so much support on every level and we’re just so, so grateful.
We’re a two woman team, figuring it out day by day, doing our best just like everyone else… but we care deeply, and we’re not going anywhere.

This crochet tool is one of the Get Ready grips. These silicone holders that can be used to apply cosmetics, hold utensils, more. The grip has two sides: a notch for holding thin utensils and a ring for holding wider items. And they can be borrowed from our lending library if you live in Pennsylvania!

This patient presented with decreased fine motor control and impaired grasp, making grooming tasks challenging. During today’s session, we focused on task-specific training using an adaptive grip from @grwmtools .
Designed with two functional surfaces (“cloud” + “bulb”), this tool accommodates a variety of object shapes and grasp patterns. For this patient, it improved control and stability during lipstick application by:
• Increasing surface area for grasp
• Reducing the need for precise pincer coordination
• Promoting joint protection and decreasing hand strain
With the use of adaptive equipment, the patient demonstrated improved motor control, greater task accuracy, and increased independence with this meaningful self-care activity.
OT is about finding the right tool for the right patient — and leveraging innovations created by individuals with lived experience to make everyday tasks more accessible and meaningful.
