🎶 Welcome Geoffrey Larson! The Grand Rapids Symphony is excited to announce the appointment of Geoffrey Larson as Assistant Conductor, beginning July 2026. Larson currently serves as Music Director of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra and Resident Conductor of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. "I am thrilled to begin my collaboration with the Grand Rapids Symphony and Marcelo Lehninger as Assistant Conductor,” Larson said. “I was impressed by the artistry of the orchestra and the warmth of the Grand Rapids community on my audition visit; I am looking forward to the exciting musical projects ahead."
