I was asked this weekend,
“what would you say to someone who is wanting to take that step of faith with their career/business idea/new endeavour, but fear is holding them back?”
I answered, “every single person has their unique purpose in this life. If you hold back out fear and doubt, you’re not only holding yourself back, you are holding those around you back, and as a consequence the people who need you, who would have been impacted by you if you just stepped in faith, will suffer, all because you got in your head about what others will think.
God has a plan for your life, but it’s up to you to step up to the plate, take the first step, and trust that God will carry through the good times and bad.
If he has planted the dream, he has planned the way. Let out a sigh of relief, understand the promise of proverbs 16:9
Stop holding back, and step into your purpose.
That one thing is: building muscle. Most women spend years doing cardio, eating less, and wondering why nothing is changing, or see the change but still don’t love the shape of their bodies.
Cardio burns calories while you’re doing it, but muscle burns calories all day long, while you’re cooking, while you’re sitting, while you’re sleeping. That’s the difference.
More muscle = higher resting metabolism = your body working
FOR you instead of against you.

Strength training WILL make you bulky, that’s kind of the point, but how much bulk are we talking? A little bulk never hurt nobody 😅😅
No but seriously, I feel like every single trainer says “you won’t get bulky from strength training” and yet many women struggle with the idea of it because they have tried it before and their weight loss on the scale stalled and they started to see puff in their muscles within the first week (which is simply your muscles recovering)… and we just give up on it all together
