Investing in private markets is entering a new phase. Growceanu is now officially authorized by the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF). This is an important milestone. But more than that, it signals a shift already happening in private markets. For a long time, the main problem was access. Investors simply didn’t have it. Today, access is starting to exist: more platforms, more opportunities, more visibility. And yet, better access has not led to better decisions. In many cases, it has done the opposite. The volume of opportunities has increased, but without a corresponding increase in structure. Information is inconsistent. Time for real due diligence is limited. The burden of evaluation still sits almost entirely with the individual investor. This is where the next stage begins. The difference is no longer made by access, but by selection. Growceanu is built for this transition, as a selection engine. A system in which every company goes through a structured, rigorous process before being presented, so that investors can focus on decision-making, not on filtering noise. Our approach is grounded in the idea that long-term returns are shaped less by identifying rare outliers and more by avoiding predictable failures. This is where discipline matters. ASF authorization allows us to build this as a regulated infrastructure, giving investors access to private, pre-IPO opportunities in Romania and across Europe later on, in a framework designed for informed, portfolio-based decisions. The platform will open to investors in the second half of May 2026. Until then, we are meeting privately with active investors and opening Early Access for those who want to understand the model ahead of launch. Private markets are evolving. They are becoming more accessible, but also more complex. From here on, the advantage will belong to those who choose with discipline.
