Every brand I create starts with properly understanding your business.
Your values, your goals, your audience… and where you want to take things.
When that part is right, everything else becomes easier.
Content. Messaging. Confidence. Direction.
That’s what good branding should do 💜

Hello 👋 I'm Samantha, the creative mind behind Groves Creative. I'm your go to graphic designer, based in Buckinghamshire - working with clients all over the UK and further afield.
I've been freelancing for almost 6 years, so it's been nice to take a moment to reflect on where it started and where we're going.
Take a scroll through to find out more about Groves Creative and my big goal for the future 😍
I can see some of my plans for the future are already starting to take shape, which is really exciting! I know it's baby steps and it will take time but it's important to have that big dream to work toward.
I'd love to know what your big goal for your business is?
I've found that when I'm working with my clients, more and more often, I'm offering them additional strategic support in developing their brand, improving their website or enhancing their online presence.
So It got me thinking that I could do this for more people as a one off service, and so am excited to launch my new Design Strategy Calls!
These calls are for you if you've been DIY'ing your brand for sometime, or you've lost touch with your brand in general, and want some honest, practical feedback from an experienced designer. I'll give you clarity, support and practical next steps - without the need to outsource design work.
If you'd like to find out more head over to my website (link in my bio) or pop me a message.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you, your business and your brand - and helping you to gain confidence and consistency in design.

Using soft green branding, clean typography and personal photography, the carousel explains three focused support options: brand strategy, website strategy and social content strategy. The final slide invites viewers to book a call or get in touch.
It's been almost 18 months since I changed from Gab Design to Groves Creative. In some ways it doesn't feel that long, but in many others it feels like Groves Creative has always been my brand.
Rebranding as a Graphic Designer was SO much harder than you would imagine! There was a lot of overthinking and questioning each step, but in the end it was the best thing I've ever done for me and my business.
Having a brand that I feel truly connected to and reflect my personality has transformed my business. This is mainly because it gave me a fresh confidence in showing up, getting visible and sharing what I can offer.
This is what brand confidence can do and I want every female founder to feel it ✨

The carousel explores the journey from Gab Design to Groves Creative, including the doubts, decisions and meaning behind the new brand identity. It highlights how feeling connected to her brand led to greater confidence, stronger visibility and business growth. The final slide invites business owners to consider whether their own brand truly reflects them and encourages them to get in touch.
Sometimes your brand doesn’t feel wrong… it just doesn’t feel quite where your business is anymore.
That can feel confusing because you might still love parts of it. The colours still feel so you or certain elements still resonate with you and are recognised by your audience.
But as your business grows, your brand often needs to grow with it.
That doesn’t always mean throwing everything away and starting from scratch. Sometimes it’s about refining what’s already there. Polishing it, modernising it, bringing more clarity and consistency, while holding onto the parts that still feel connected to who you are.
A strong brand can evolve without losing its roots.
And sometimes that’s exactly what’s needed!
So if you looked at your brand today, what’s one part you’d definitely keep… and what’s one part that feels ready for a change?
#Branding #Rebrand #BrandRefresh #BrandDesigner
A lot of people come to me for branding, websites, graphics and design support… which, of course, is no surprise - I am a graphic designer after all.
But lately, I’ve felt a big change.
My client calls are starting in a very different place.
Not with “I need a new brand.”
But with…
“Something feels off.”
“My business has grown, but my brand hasn’t caught up.”
“I’ve got so many ideas, but I don’t know what to focus on first.”
“I know something needs to shift… I just can’t see it clearly.”
And that’s where I’m finding I’m adding more value.
Yes, I design brands, websites and collateral that help businesses feel consistent, confident and truly aligned.
But I’m also helping business owners step back, reconnect with their brand, build confidence in how they show up, and create more consistency across their business.
It feels like a really natural evolution of my business… and one I’m really excited about.
Through branding, websites, strategy calls... and soon, The Brand Confidence Club! I’m here to help you build a business that not only looks good, but feels right too.
Does your business still reflect where you’re heading… or where you started?
If not, drop me a message and let’s bring it back together 😊
So… I’ve officially started building something called:
The Brand Confidence Club
(Ahhhh so excited!)
A space for female founders who maybe aren’t ready to invest in a full brand package or ongoing design support right now but still want expert eyes, honest feedback, creative direction, and the confidence to create visuals that actually reflect their business.
Inside the club, you’ll get access to:
✔ Design feedback from me
✔ Honest voice note critiques & advice
✔ Support with Canva, social graphics, PDFs, websites & more
✔ Bite-sized masterclasses to help you understand your brand and use it with confidence
✔ A supportive space with other women in business who get it
And we’re starting at the beginning…
Because your brand is so much more than a logo, colours, and fonts.
It’s how people experience you.
If this sounds like something you’d love, I’d love to hear from you 💜

Carousels are popular right now and for good reason! They’re a brilliant way to keep people engaged and encourage them to keep swiping.
BUT I’m seeing a few common mistakes that could actually be hurting engagement.
Yes, your carousel might look pretty but if it’s hard to read, overwhelming, or unclear on mobile... people will likely drop off.
If you want your content to be easier to read, easier to follow, and more accessible, here are a few things to think about:
✅ Design for mobile first
✅ Use strong colour contrast
✅ Use large text
✅ Keep slides focused
✅ Don't keep details only in the graphics
✅ Create a clear flow
Accessibility isn't about ticking boxes, it's about making content clearer and more enjoyable for more people, because accessible design = good design.
Let me know in the comments if you've considered accessibility in your carousels? Have any of these points made you stop & think?

Image description: Educational carousel focused on improving accessibility in carousels. The opening slide shares the message that some carousels may look beautiful but can be difficult to read. Each slide then explores a key accessibility tip, including designing for mobile-first viewing, choosing readable font sizes and strong colour contrast, simplifying layouts, keeping one key message per slide, ensuring important information is included in the caption and creating a logical flow from slide to slide. The final slides reinforce that accessible design is good design and leave viewers with three practical questions to ask before posting their next carousel.
I’m exploring an idea I feel really excited about…
Design support for women in business who want to show up confidently… but don’t always have the time to figure it all out themselves, or the budget for full 1:1 design support.
A space for ongoing support, honest feedback, practical guidance… and someone in your corner who just gets it.
If that sounds like something you’d value, I’d genuinely love your input while I shape it.
I’ve put together a quick 2-minute survey and I’d be so grateful for your thoughts 💭
Comment 🔥 below and i'll send you link!
Let's play a colour game!
I often see these word matching games in my little boy's activity books so thought it would be fun to create my own all about colours!
Can you match these five colours to their meaning?
No cheating!! Have a go before you scroll on.
Colours are so important when it comes to branding as each colour has a meaning, and will tell your audience something about your brand. If you get this wrong then you could leave people confused and unsure about what it is you offer.
Do you know what your brand colours are saying?
If you're not sure then this is your sign to go & do some research! And if you feel like your colours, and your brand, could do with a refresh then do get in touch as I'd love to help.
Now let me know in the comments how many did you get right???
____________
Image description: A five-slide carousel exploring the psychology of colour in branding. The carousel begins with a colour-matching game, inviting viewers to connect different colours with brand personality traits such as credibility, energy, clarity, courage, and momentum. It then reveals the answers, explains why colour choices matter in branding, and finishes with a photograph of Sam from Groves Creative encouraging business owners to think more intentionally about their brand colours.
Yesterday I shared an idea… and wow, the response was amazing, thank you so much!
The messages, replies, and conversations I had confirmed that there’s a real need (and want!) for something like this.
I was honestly buzzing with excitement… but it also reminded me how many female founders are:
⭐ DIY’ing their brand
⭐ Using Canva but second-guessing every design decision
⭐ Sitting on a good brand but not fully knowing how to use it
⭐ Trying to create consistency across social media, websites, PDFs, presentations, and more
⭐ Wanting honest design support… without constantly outsourcing everything
So… I’m exploring something new 👀
A space where female founders can get:
✅ Design feedback
✅ Brand guidance
✅ Canva support
✅ Live coaching + masterclasses
✅ The confidence to create visuals that actually reflect the quality of their business
Before I take this any further, I want to make sure I’m building something you’d genuinely want, need, and actually use.
So I’ve created a super quick 2-minute survey ♥️
If this sounds like you, I’d genuinely love your input. Head over to my story or highlights to fill it in!
Survey responders will get:
✅ First access
✅ Potential founding member pricing
✅ Priority invite when doors open
