Groundwork Therapy’s (*updated*) 2026 Professional Development Workshop Calendar. These workshops are designed for practitioners who want to deepen their awareness, strengthen their reflective practice, and build clarity in how they work - not just what they do.  Suitable for psychologists, social workers, counsellors, educators, dieticians, equine-assisted practitioners, allied health professionals and those working closely with people, the focus is on developing ethical, sustainable and grounded practice. These professional development offerings are facilitated by Psychologist and Family Therapist Kylie Peters. Some further workshops and specialty trainings will also be released soon as ‘Expressions of Interest’ and will proceed based on numbers, so keep an eye out for those over the coming weeks. To secure your place at any of these workshops, tickets can be booked online via the link in bio. For all enquiries please contact [email protected] Hope to see you at an upcoming workshop 😊

If you’re feeling the pull to deepen your practice, this is the workshop where that work actually happens. Join Kylie Peters (Psychologist, Family Therapist) and her four-legged team for a two-day immersive workshop exploring how safety is consciously co-created within therapeutic and learning spaces - not assumed, but actively scaffolded. Grounded in the Co-Creating Safety Practice Framework and brought to life through experiential learning with horses, this workshop invites you to look at your work differently. Not just what you do, but how you think, respond, and show up within it. Across the two days, you’ll explore: • Consent, boundaries, and dignity of risk in practice • Relational process, what’s happening in the space, and why • Your own responses, patterns, and blind spots • How to build and refine a personal practice framework • Ways to support safe, sustainable, ethically informed work • Strengthening your reflective and reflexive capacity This is a weight-neutral, HAES-aligned space that centres the practitioner as part of the work, with a strong focus on ethics, awareness, and clarity of practice. You’ll also walk away with practical tools to support ongoing reflection, including the Groundwork Practitioner Concept Map booklet and Reflective Practice Questions. This workshop aligns with Psychology Board of Australia competencies 2, 3 and 7. This is for therapists, counsellors, psychologists, social workers, educators, allied health professionals, and anyone looking to expand their awareness, refine their approach, and lead with integrity in equine and outdoor practice. If you’re ready to examine how who you are shapes how you practice, join us. For tickets click the link in our bio. Coming with a friend? Use the code: WORKSHOPFRIEND1 to both receive $65 off.

Trust the process, because you have built a process you can trust. The Groundwork Therapy workshops are designed to help you develop clarity of practice, reflexive thinking, and ethical foundations. You learn how to understand what is unfolding in front of you and why you think it is unfolding that way. From there, you build your own personal practice framework. 2026 updates and workshops 💫 Thank you for your continued support of Groundwork Therapy. While we’ve been a little quieter on socials, there’s been a great deal happening behind the scenes - reviewing and refining our programs, restructuring elements of the business, building new online booking and communication systems, updating resources, and thoughtfully evolving our Practitioner Training and Professional Development workshop offerings, All of this has been done with you in mind. We’re nearly ready, and so excited to share what 2026 holds. The calendar of events will be released in the coming days, so stay tuned… In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect. Thank you - Kylie #marchisthenewjanuary

Pheobe 🖤 11 February 2026 The most extraordinary pony, beyond grateful for you, your heart and wise soul and all our adventures together. you absolute legend. What an honour and a privilege to have you in my herd for the past 18 years. You taught me. You taught alongside me, and would have worked with thousand humans all over Australia in your time, changing lives one hearty at a time in ways only you could. You left a legacy with everyone who knew you. You were the most special; workshops, life and the paddock will never be the same without you. You made everything and all of us better just because you were there. Our very own superhero. Fiercely loved and missed by us; Woody, Teddy, doc, monk, joker, Jasper and me carry your heart, in our hearts, always. Rest in Peace My little hearty 🤍 Fonzis been waiting for you.

➡️ Are we ‘building safety’ or ‘building unsafety’ in our workshops…? This idea that safety is not one big thing but a culmination of so many little things And safety is not a ‘set and forget’ but a value and a process we want to build through the whole workshop. Making the invisible visible 💫
