One of my favorite moments as a coach thus far. The college scholarship signing ceremony at Aliso Niguel High School. @josephinerettich.bjjwrestle earned a full-ride scholarship to Chadron State College for wrestling. Josephine got her start on the mat at Groundwork then decided to sign up for wrestling when she started high school. Well, she absolutely dedicated herself, and the result is beautiful. I cannot wait to see where you take your life, young lady. We are so so proud of you!!! It’s been an honor to be a part of your journey.

We are pleased to announce that Groundwork will be hosting a women’s self-defense class in honor of World Water Day on March 22 from 2–4 PM.
World Water Day raises awareness about the global water crisis and advocates for the sustainable management of water resources. Over the past five years, this campaign has helped thousands of people in East Africa gain access to clean water. However, 1 in 4 people globally still do not have access to safe drinking water.
In 2 out of 3 households, women are primarily responsible for collecting water. In Sub-Saharan Africa, millions of people live without access to clean water, and women and girls spend thousands of hours each year walking to collect it.
Please share this invitation with your friends and family—we hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Coach John
