Every 5lb bag of our flour directly supports 95 square feet of Northeast farmland. Every 3lb bag supports 57 square feet. Land where grains are grown as cover crops, keeping the soil healthy, the water clean, and a local food system alive.

Right now our farmers are out in the fields doing what they do best. Thrall Family Farm in Windsor, CT has Soft White Winter Wheat that's been growing since fall and is standing tall. They're also no-till planting Spring Wheat as we speak. Over in Ghent, NY, North Creek Organics has Spring Wheat coming in beautifully. The farmers are feeling good about this season and honestly, being this connected to where our grain comes from never gets old.

@groundupgrain isn’t going anywhere. Ground Up is still here, still stone milling, still doing what it’s always done, producing small-batch, stone-milled flour from Northeast-grown grains. That hasn’t changed, and it won’t.
What IS new is @coastalqueenmilling , our sister brand, born from the same values and the same love of regional grain, but built around a different process: roller milling.
Here’s the difference in a nutshell:
