Congratulations to @portsmouthcreates and @portsmouthcitycouncil on the announcement that Portsmouth has been named on the longlist for UK City of Culture 2029! Making the longlist means that that city will now develop its full bid to become UK City of Culture 2029.
Becoming a City of Culture will provide the opportunity to both showcase the creativity that already thrives here and support more people to take part with a funded programme of events and activity! We’re proud to support the bid and you can too by following @wearepompey2029 🙌🏻
