Nike Force of Nature
Throwback to a Force of Nature - where Nike asked Ground Control to created a visceral film artistically demonstrating nature’s influence in Nike’s product design.
We produced from a blank canvas to the final piece, a detailed high fidelity CG film with fibres growing into complex shapes inspired by nature’s phenomena.

A cozy Christmas vibe: crackling fire, hot chocolate, wrapped gifts, and a tree glowing with ornaments.
And on top — a sparkly little fairy in a flapper dress inviting us into a tiny world of magic.
We kept the mood simple and warm, focusing on the feeling before any CG work began.
Soft colours, gentle lighting, and a quiet kind of Christmas charm. Nothing flashy — just pure, cozy magic.

Ground Control was asked to look after the European part of Shiseido’s 150th anniversary film — shot across Paris and throughout France on 16mm and 35mm film.
Featuring all real people, this project celebrates beauty, time, and authenticity.

Hawaii Training Camp Film
We created a film capturing the Kenyan National Running Team during their training camp in Hawaii.
The piece reflects the essence of the Nike Free 3.0—minimalism and natural movement.
Set against Hawaii’s rugged landscapes, the film strips away all excess and focuses solely on the act of running.
A simple, powerful reminder of the importance of moving freely.

本作では Nike Free 3.0 の核である “ミニマリズム” と “自然な動き” を表現。
荒々しいハワイの大地を背景に、余計な装飾をすべてそぎ落とし、ただ「走る」という行為だけにフォーカス。
自由に動くことの大切さを、シンプルかつ力強く伝える映像になっています。

We designed and directed the CG film for the latest commercial film by Superfeet, the U.S.–based insole brand.
The visuals highlight the product’s key features:
• superior cushioning
• powerful energy return from its carbon structure
The CG was designed to express these qualities through motion and texture, bringing the insole’s performance to life.

🇯🇵✨ In 2019, Ground Control in Collaboration with Dentsu Japan, was commissioned by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs & Communication to create a TV pilot which aired on Sky TV UK 📺
🎬 8 Bites of Japan took beloved UK comedian Jim Moir on a journey to 8 regions of Japan, discovering 8 unique dishes 🍜🍣 and uncovering the country’s hidden side 🌸
2019年、Ground Controlは日本の総務省より依頼を受け、イギリスのSky TVで放送されるパイロット番組を制作しました🎬📺
番組タイトルは 『8 Bites of Japan』。
英国で最も愛されるコメディアン、ジム・モア（Jim Moir）が日本各地を旅し、西洋ではあまり知られていない8つの特別な料理🍣🍜🥢を体験。
ただ食べるだけでなく、その土地の文化や人々との出会いを通して“これまでとは違う日本”を紹介しました🌸⛩️🗾
「笑い」と「食」を切り口に、隠れた日本の魅力を世界へ届けたプロジェクトです🌍✨
