Last month we held our Black Future Month gathering ✨☄️🌌 An Afrofuturist space created as a counter to Black History Month, which too often limits Black existence to the past through a deficit lens.
Together, we explored what a Black future looks and feels like. Through movement, reasoning, and grounding, we practiced collective imaginations of freedom.
Big up @hue_artivist
Big up @nomadmaison

Inside Movement Medicine 💊
Senior Lead @nia_jea interviews embodied practitioner, researcher and community organiser @mackkaa_ - link in bio!
The cohort will be getting back together for our next 6 day intensive with @bsturdivantsr & @stacikhaines at the end of this month — ahead of this, explore some of the work, theory and practice.
Embodied leadership is needed to change systems. Movement Medicine is a programme investing in embodied skills for our communities and movements. A growing cohort (currently 30+) of movement leaders, organisers, healthcare practitioners and those working in social justice, training in politicised somatics to bring about the futures we want to call in.
Macole is an embodied practitioner, researcher, community organiser and founder of @groundationuk based in Sheffield. His work centres Black embodiment, healing and resistance, exploring how systemic racism, policing and carceral systems are lived and held in the body.

We are starting the season with a very special guest, the lovely Lauren Sprackling, a holistic health advocate and decolonial phd researcher.
Lauren is joining us this Sunday to share her story of struggle & triumph on her journey with shadow work, inner child healing, fear and the effects of addiction.
Self Love Sundays are here to help you to set meaningful goals, encourage practices that benefit your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Together, we explore powerful techniques to cleanse your energy field, deepen your meditation practice, heal your body, align your chakras, share life's challenges in a safe and supportive space and reflect on your journey so far.
We explore modalities such as yoga, meditation, sound therapy, plant medicine, various therapeutic practices and occasionally invite guests to facilitate sessions with the group. Our mission is to empower you to: Listen to and understand your body’s needs.
Cultivate a loving connection with yourself.
Promote physical and spiritual well-being as you pursue your aspirations.

As we move into the Spring Equinox — the natural new year — we’re inviting the community into a collective juice fast 🌱
From 17–20 March we’ll be holding a 72-hour Spring reset. Fasting has long been used across cultures as a way to cleanse the body, clear the mind, and realign with intention. The Spring Equinox marks a powerful seasonal shift — a moment to welcome new beginnings and set intentions for the cycle ahead.
Doing it collectively makes the process more supportive and meaningful — moving through the fast together and stepping into spring with shared intention and renewal.
