The film selection committee has finished selecting the short films for the festival! The selection was made based on quality, country of origin, length and other factors that will ensure the most diverse and high-quality program possible. The final program will be announced in early June! 🎬

Komisija za izbor filmov je končala z izborom kratkih filmov za festival! Izbor je bil narejen na podlagi kvalitete, države izvora filma, dolžine in drugih faktorjev, s katerimi bomo lahko zagotovili čim bolj pester in kvaliteten program. Končni program bomo objavili v začetku junija! 🎬

This year, we will have our alternative bazaar yet again.
This year, however, brings a few changes.
💀Due to a higher demand, we will have a selection process. Who gets accepted will be decided on the basis of past experiences and what we deem will be best suited for the festival.
🎃To have a wider variety of exhibitors, you will only be able to rent one stall (2mx1m). These will be situated on the side of the Main Square, where there's going to be more shade to protect you from the summer heat. Extension cords for electricity will also be available.
👽😇Please send us the description of your work/offers on: [email protected] by with 5-10 pictures (at least 1024x768) and links to your website and social media. If you get accepted, we will also promote you on our social media (if you agree with that).
🪱When you arrive at the festival, you will also have to pay 35€ for your table for the 2 days of the festival (Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of July 2026).

🧟♂️Danes, 27. oktobra praznuje Dr. Karol Grossmann 161 let!
Biografija
🐣 27.10.1864, Drakovci, Slovenija
⚰️ 03.08.1929, Ljutomer, Slovenija
Pionir slovenskega filma Karol Grossmann je v Ljutomeru deloval kot odvetnik. Bil je razgledan človek in aktivno vpet v gospodarsko in družbeno življenju takratnega Ljutomera. Njegov dom je bil družabno stičišče, ter v času vojne tudi pribežališče izobraženih in uveljavljenih sodobnikov. Ukvarjal se je z literaturo, gledališčem in prevajanjem. Nad fotografijo in filmom se je navdušil v prvem desetletju dvajsetega stoletja, ko je v Nemčiji kupil več fotoaparatov in 17,5-milimetrsko filmsko kamero, s katero je posnel prve slovenske filme.
