Just got back from the SaskAi Expo. It was a great privilege to collaborate with @t_ironstar_artist and assemble this huge LEGO mosaic based on two of Torrie’s works. 468 sections, each assembled by expo attendees were combined to create the final piece! Huge thanks to the AiSK team for putting on the event and to @nwaddell1974 and @beep_bam_boop for helping facilitate all the LEGO fun! #saskaiexpo

I recently had the amazing opportunity to partner with TELUS World of Science - Edmonton to make something special for the 5th anniversary of the Catalyst Circle. These microscale model kits of the Science Centre were designed as exclusive gifts for long-time Catalyst Circle donors who have supported the program since its beginning. These kits honour their ongoing commitment to curiosity, creativity and collaboration. Thank you to all Catalyst Circle donors for their continued support of the Science Centre. // Disclaimer: This is not a LEGO® product. Contents are re-packaged LEGO elements. Three new train car kits are now available at Boxcar Coffee Shop! I had such a fun time designing these three models inspired by some iconic Canadian train cars. The “Engine”, “Box Car”, and “Caboose” kits are each sold separately and can be combined into one larger Train model! Get yours today! #yeg #lego #coffee #trains // Disclaimer: This is not a LEGO® product. Contents are re-packaged LEGO elements. The Coates Residence. Recently, I was given the opportunity to recreate a historic residence in Edmonton as it stands today. This was a super fun project to tackle as I love digging into Edmonton history. I’ve included photos of some renderings showing the functionality as well as more detailed shots of the interior. The Coates Residence is an Arts and Crafts Revival style home built in Elm Park, a subdivision now part of the Calder neighbourhood. Elm Park was established in 1903 as it was close to the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway rail yard, quickly becoming home to many rail workers and their families. The Coates family built this house in 1931, using many local materials including recycled lumber from the rail yard and locally manufactured clinker brick (installed by the neighbour across the street). More recently, a modern addition has been made on the back of the house, but many of the character-defining elements remain, including the roofline, entryway canopy, and classic globe light fixtures inside. For the model, we wanted to aim for a pseudo minifig scale, sort of like the winter village sets from LEGO. The model was an anniversary gift and was designed with a few personal touches for the interior and of course included the dogs. #lego #architecture #yeg @jesseforyeg

After a year of planning I’m so excited to finally unveil this massive permanent LEGO mural at Elmwood School. This is a representation of the Tiger from the Chinese Zodiac, their new school mascot representing their Chinese bilingual program. It’s such a thrill to unveil this on the eve of the Lunar New Year and International LEGO Day. This was a collaborative effort, each 16x16 stud section was built by a student at Elmwood that will live on forever in their school library. Huge thanks to the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Association, the Elmwood School Parent’s Council, all our friends who helped assemble, and of course the wonderful students and staff of Elmwood. @epsbnews @afa.1991 @bricktron_ @dekilldesigns #LEGO #legomosaic #legomosaics #afol #lunarnewyear #lunarnewyear2025 #chinesenewyear #legocommunity #yeg #yegart

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of hosting a week-long LEGO event at Baturyn School with @only_together_events . Each student was able to work on a piece of “Baturyn Castle” that represented themselves and their school community. Thanks again to all the students who helped build this wonderful piece and the amazing staff at Baturyn. 🏰 #lego #legoevent #yeg #yeglocal #epsb #legomasters #legocommunity #buildtogether
