Hello! 😃
I created Groove Plug because I felt a lack of intention in shows. With only 52 Fridays a year, I don’t want to compromise on safe spaces with good sound and a social atmosphere. I want gender + genre diverse lineups built with the flow of the night in mind.
So, with the support of @roambarseattle , we made it happen!
I’ve been so lucky to also put on and support my crazy talented friends, while giving back to the communities that occupy our dance floors.
I am beyond excited to meet once again and make more core memories to such an amazing group of DJs.
I hope to see you at Roam TOMORROW for @groove.plug !!

Bass House - Tech House - Deep House
Mai Tai is a Seattle-based DJ who has been building her sound in bass house and tech house. She came up through the shuffle community, so she knows what it feels like to be on the floor. When the beat is too good to not dance, she makes sure everyone else figures that out too.
Mai Tai is no stranger to slaying a dance-floor, whether that’s behind the decks as a DJ, or on stage performing. We are beyond stoked to hear what tracks she pulls out of her bag May 8th at @roambarseattle

Afro House x Indie Dance x House
YEVSA (Olena Yevsiutina) is a Seattle-based DJ originally from Ukraine. She blends diverse genres into melodic, emotional sets inspired by artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Keinemusik, and Adam Ten.
She is also the founder of Obsidian, a music project focused on Afro House and Indie Dance, bringing together artists and creating unique event experiences.
For YEVSA, music is about connection, freedom, and emotion — creating moments where people feel present and alive on the dancefloor.

Tech House - Minimal Tech - House
Brandon Ung is a Seattle-based DJ and producer recognized for his signature sound of driving, groove-heavy basslines and high-energy rhythms built for the dance floor. Defined by rolling low-end, tight percussive drums, and clean, punchy grooves.
Rising through Seattle’s club circuit, Brandon has steadily built a name for himself as an artist to watch. He has shared the stage with recognized acts such as ACRAZE, Shiba San, Troyboi, and amongst others, reinforcing his growing presence and credibility behind the decks. His sets are defined by tight transitions, rolling grooves, and a strong instinct for reading the crowd—delivering cohesive, high-energy performances from start to finish.
Drawing inspiration from the evolving tech house and minimal tech scene, with touches of hip-hop influence woven throughout, Brandon continues to carve out his sound by balancing underground grit with mainstream appeal. With a clear focus on crafting records that resonate both in clubs and beyond, he is steadily building momentum with each release and performance.

March 21st, we’re teaming up with 6 incredible collectives in Seattle to bring you Dance 4 Protest: A night of music and an opportunity to fundraise legal counsel for our Immigrant Community.
February’s event raised over $600 for the NWIRP, but this work is still needed more than ever, so with the help of our friends, we are incredibly excited to maximize our social impact.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to NWIRP, and this lineup includes representatives of these Collectives as well as exclusive B2Bs and B3B’s so we can fit as much Seattle Talent into 5 hours.
