Happy Samhain all, and welcome to the darkness.
From a collection I did a couple of years ago - all the old town light pouring out into the lap of night.

Not all grade IVs are made equal, especially when it's the first route of the season.
Honeypot, IV,6 at Sneachda - emphasis definitively being on the 6 when buried under powder and climbing whilst it's dumping.

Finishing up the final pitch of 'Punster's Crack' on The Cobbler's North Peak. A full value route for the grade on amazing rock.

(nerdy stuff)
Expired Kodak T-Max 400, Nikkor 28mm 3.5 Ai (F3 Body).
1) Sun breaks over and around the Lagginhorn. Viewed from the other side of the Saastal during a slightly dodgy mid-glacier photoshoot (how could you not?).
But just look at the state of that glacier, even in mid June? It's alarming and terrifying, dreading to think how they must be now - or how they'll be by the end of the month. Experiencing a glacier melting beneath you and around you eye opening to say the least, and perhaps should be mandatory for everyone flippant about this so called 'climate change'.
2) Guided party gearing up in front of the Weissmies group
3) Our luxury bivy on a helipad overlooking the Feegletscher, Alphubel, and the Allalinhorn
4) Party on approach to the Windjoch with the Bernese Alps in the background (the Finsterarhorn looking majestic off over yonder <3)
