GRLFACES is all about empowering women through makeup artistry.
Allow me to reintroduce myself: I’m Khiya Hassan, a full-time makeup artist originally from Philadelphia, now in the DMV to bring something fresh to the makeup industry. Makeup has always been my first love, but my passion deepened when I realized it goes beyond artistry.
Three years ago, I began my journey as a makeup artist, spending countless hours at my vanity practicing looks and trying products on myself. I never imagined those moments would lead me here. I discovered that my passion isn’t just about making another woman look beautiful; it’s about uplifting her self-esteem. I believe in pouring into the next girl so she can flourish into who she’s meant to be.
I want to personally thank all my clients, friends, and family for your unwavering support and belief in me. You’ve uplifted me in ways I never thought possible. I’m so excited to share this rebrand with you all, as I’ve put my heart and soul into it.
