My work from my 8 week Ceramics 101 course with @catsheartansley !
I did ceramics in high school and I took a private lesson on the wheel last year both of which it came naturally. However, this course humbled me to the practice. I failed a lot and it challenged my personal growth area of wanting to be in control. I had some days that I left the studio frustrated and other days I left feeling excited. I gave in to the challenge and made what felt good, I don’t plan anything out, I just showed up week after week and this is what I was able to leave with. Even better, I left making new connections and felt like a community which is needed in these times. So thanks Grit Ceramic Studio for being a place of inspiration and growth.
