La Sportiva Solution Comp resoled with Vibram XS Grip 2.👌
In my opinion, one of the best aggressive shoes ever designed and loads of potential for resoling if sent in early enough.
@scarpa_uk & @mountainbootuk were kind enough to send me some pre-cuts a while ago to mess about with while I work towards certification. I don't get many Veloce in at the right size for the pre-cuts but here's a pair from the last TCH Edinburgh collection. 👌
More news on certification in the future, hopefully.

SAS is comparable to Vibram XS Grip 2 but slightly stiffer and hard wearing. A good all round compound.
The FT74 is comparable to Scarpa S72 and Unparallel RS and offers extreme sensitivity and stickiness.
I'll offer both compounds in 3.5mm and 4.2mm

I've finally caught up on things! Last week's lot from TCH Edinburgh are finished and will be returned tomorrow.
Moving forward I'll be changing to a fortnightly collection and return from TCH Edinburgh due to rising fuel costs. I won't be charging extra so the resole will still be top quality and affordable. 👌

Here's a closer look at a resole on a pair of La Sportiva Solutions. Solutions are one of those shoes that require patience and experience to get right. The classic snow plow angle and off set point to the toe is very specific to this shoe and as I found out, climbers are very precise about how they want it to look.
