Happy Halloween from your local skeleton crew! šŸŽƒšŸ’€ We got you a little treat (and terror). If you missed our collaboration with @preciousblood709 , here’s our official music video for their track TERRIFIED - nominated for Music Video of the Year at the upcoming @musicnl awards! šŸ©øšŸ† Cults! Home invasions! Gnarly FX (and riffs) - it’s a slice of spooky season that everyone worked very hard on. We couldn’t have made it without the help of the many hands that subjected themselves to the freezing wind off the Atlantic, and the smell of molasses that I’m not sure ever left Adam’s basement. We’re gonna screen it at the @fogfestnl launch party at the Rockhouse a week from today, Nov 7th, featuring performances from the boys, @hagwillgetyou and @divineflow.dancecoven - after all, Halloween is all year long on this island. Get tickets and don’t miss it!

The FOGFEST Rise The Tide series returns with a celebration of queer horror! We’ve curated a heavy hitting double bill that explores the boundaries of fear, desire, and reality šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆšŸ¦‘ Opening with the short film In The Valley - A hallucinatory trip through the desert where reality twists after a night with a mysterious cowboy. Directed by Los Angeles filmmaker and FOGFEST alumni Adam Van Dyke. Then, our feature presentation: Son of Sara: Vol. 1 - A pregnant woman, a dinner party, and a descent into a bloody, supernatural nightmare. Directed by Canadian filmmaker Houston Bone, Son of Sara Vol. 1 opened the Blood in the Snow Film Festival in Toronto this past November, where actor Van Landschoot won the festival’s award for Best Lead Performance in a Feature Film. We’re thrilled to have Houston with us in attendance for a post-screening Q&A to discuss the film and his experiences in creating queer-focused supernatural storytelling Whether you’re here for the scares or the conversation, this is a night to support independent film and the diverse voices that keep the genre alive. ā° Saturday, March 21st at 7PM (Doors 6:30) šŸ“The LSPU Hall, 3 Victoria Street, St. John’s NLA1C 3V2 šŸŽŸļø 15 bones. IT’S CREEPMAS AND THURSDAY SO LET’S THROW IT BACK OLD SAINT NICK STYLE. Enjoy this 2018 no-budget holiday short in new gritty black and white - which looks better than the original because we couldn’t afford lights back then. Some other fun facts about #ForGoodnessSake: šŸŽ We bought the biggest dollarama Santa suit we could find for @jaybabydubs - it falls apart a little more every minute. šŸŽ Like the lights, we couldn’t afford a white beard either, so we put a bunch of cornstarch in his beard and that also progressively gets worse as it falls out. šŸŽ We did put a hole in @paulwarford ’s wall while he was out of town and let us film in his apartment. šŸŽ The teeth that get knocked out of @tomdidge are chicklets šŸŽ The table stunt is a double. Instead of @francois.van.zyl who plays Burglar #2, we swapped in ā€œYoung Lukeā€ because he has better, younger bones. šŸŽ This is Paul’s dog Gabby’s first on screen role after the credits. This film also counted as dog sitting and she was a tremendous talent and good sport. All that to say - don’t let money get in the way of making a silly film with your friends. Merry Christmas from our skeleton crew to yours šŸ–¤šŸŽ¬šŸŽ„ #christmas2025 #diyfilmmaking #indiefilm

After a final day of shooting our episode intros with the always incredible @dalejarvis - that’s a PICTURE WRAP on Haunted Harbours! Been a long time coming and so excited to finally unleash this into the world. Also learned that a turnip jack o lantern is incredibly hard to keep lit with a zippo. Coming to @fibetv1 early 2026 šŸŽ¬šŸŒŠ

We just wrapped four days of INTENSE filming for #HauntedHarbours! It’s not lost on me that every day we get to do this is a miracle and a privilege, and it wouldn’t have happened without all the creatures you see here giving their absolute all. I’ve always been about good people over a good film, and i’m honoured to be in the company of this absolute dream scream team. It’s because of them that we’ve captured the best grind yet. Humbled and horrified. Haunted Harbours is coming to Bell @fibetv1 SOON šŸ‘»šŸŒŠšŸŽ¬ - Shane
