Reset 2024!
Inspired by who would be at the top of the hierarchy after a nuclear winter, essentially the next ice age— those that currently live in arctic temperatures and create to survive. More specifically those that have learned the art of animal hide tanning and clothing construction.
I researched the Inuit, Nenets, and Yakutia populations for their techniques, designs, and practices.

exploring how something as harmless as an epiphytic orchid can become parasitic to humans when mixed with something as dangerous as greed. the victorian phenomenon of orchidelirium serves as the basis for my research, where the upper echelons collected orchids to showcase their wealth. with every orchid collected, a less fortunate hunter may lose their job, limb, or even life in some cases yet, the white aristocrat would be untouched physically, only consumed by their greed.
