In 2023, Griffin Catalyst provided seed funding to advance Feng Zhang’s research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard on programmable therapeutics, an emerging approach that aims to reprogram cells to address a broad spectrum of human diseases. ​That support is now helping advance new discoveries. ​Researchers at @MIT and the @BroadInstitute have developed an mRNA-based approach that helps the immune system function more effectively as we age by prompting the body to produce signals that strengthen key immune cells. ​Published in Nature, the study suggests a potential way to improve vaccine responses and enhance the effectiveness of certain cancer treatments. ​Read more in @ScienceDaily_Official at the link in our bio.

Griffin Catalyst was proud to be the Official Youth Sponsor of the Cadillac Championship, providing a place where families could learn, play and spend time together during the tournament.With help from our partners @frostscience and @nicklaus4kids, children of all ages had the opportunity to test their knowledge in Science Showdown, participate in live experiments and take their shot at mini golf at the Kids Zone.

Inspired by @UChicago Crime Lab's Policing Leadership Academy (PLA), new bipartisan legislation introduced by U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Sheldon Whitehouse aims to establish a national framework for advanced leadership development education for rising law enforcement leaders.This bill would scale the PLA’s model, which equips commanders with the data-driven management skills and community trust-building tools necessary to lead effectively and reduce violence in neighborhoods across the country.Griffin Catalyst is proud to support the next generation of law enforcement leaders as they work to make their communities safer.
