it’s time…. for those that have been here for the long haul, you’ll all remember Tia my heart dog.. Kyah turned 10 this year which means it’s 10 years since Tia passed.. and 10 years since we planted her tree.. it’s turned into an absolute whopper, it’s growth rate is something amazing and is a perfect representation of everything Tia was in her short time on this earth… 💚🌳🐾

these chonky bonsai were collected as damaged street trees in the early 90s by some of my work colleagues Ian Wray and Stuart Mackinnon.. theyve resided in an amazing backyard collection all this time, trees as valuable as this only get shown off to people who’ve gained peer respect over years as dedicated horticulturalists.. respect for skills as valuable as this are a dying commodity these days with knowledge kept close only shared with those most deserving and the spoils of 40+ years of study kept even closer.
