Solid return to @castroltnt@gridkhana - my first in 3 years and instantly got into a near perfect rhythm with 20+ winning runs throughout the day. (Obviously, we’re ignoring the 2 cones and 1 tyre that I killed in the process...)
It’s still wild that so many of you trusted me enough to strap in and send it on this new high-speed course. I appreciate all of you that came out, brought snacks and had a good time. Big thanks to the Gridkhana team for being patient and allowing me to run back to back ride-alongs.
And of course, thank you to @fastpartscaribbean for providing me with this rocket ship that I clearly underestimated. Paired with a killer set up and maintenance by @garage61automotive and the undeniable predictability of the Nankang CRS provided by @unlimitedtyres . I just had to show up and drive!
You know it’s a proper set up when my physical fitness was challenged more than the reliability of a Subaru- after hot lapping all day with barely any breaks in between. **sips Liquid IV**
