We’re closing our doors, but before we do, we want to gather in the space one more time.
Join us for a night to celebrate everything we’ve built and to show up for each other, just like we always have. Help us raise $10,000 to clear critical debt and sustain our work as we step into what’s next. Every donation, merch pre-order, and raffle entry brings us closer to making that possible. Thursday May 28th 5:00PM-8:00PM 105 Wickenden Suite 2 Providence, RI

It is with deep care for our community that we share an important update: GRID Gallery will be closing its physical location. This decision comes after sustained financial strain that has made it no longer viable to maintain our current space. While this is a difficult moment for our organization, it is also a necessary step toward stabilizing and continuing our work with intention. We are actively working to resolve outstanding financial obligations incurred in sustaining the space. To support this transition, we will be launching a fundraiser to help clear this debt and stabilize GRID’s next phase of work. An effort that will require collective support from our community. GRID has always been shaped by the artists and community around it, not just its physical space. Our mission to create visibility, access, and opportunity for LGBTQIA+ BIPOC artists remains unchanged. What will change is how we carry that mission forward. In the months ahead, we will be rethinking our model to continue serving our community in ways that are more sustainable, including new approaches to programming, partnerships, and engagement beyond a fixed location. Thank you for being part of GRID and for helping shape what it has been and what it will become. We will share more details soon on how to contribute and stay involved.
