Don’t even mind the music in the background… that day wasn’t exactly my best. I was really down, like one of those days where everything just feels heavier than usual and you don’t even have the words to explain it. I almost didn’t go anywhere, almost stayed in my own head.
But somehow I ended up following my family to sunrise water park, not because I was excited or anything, just to get out for a bit and clear my mind. No big expectations, no plans to feel better, just needed a change of space.
Funny how things work though, because somewhere between the noise, the water, and just being around people who didn’t even realize what was going on with me, I actually started to feel lighter. I caught myself laughing, being present, forgetting for a moment how low I felt earlier.
They had no idea what that meant to me… but that little escape did more than they could ever imagine. Sometimes you don’t need everything to be fixed, you just need a moment that reminds you it won’t always feel like that.
