WORLDWIDE RELEASE 🌎 Melbourne-based electronic artist Jordz expands the world of her latest single with the release of ‘Little Thing - The Remixes’, a three-track EP featuring the original alongside a progressive house remix from Ivan Gough and an indie dance remix from Elena Kulstof.
Australian dance music pioneer and one half of TV Rock, Ivan Gough delivers a deep progressive house interpretation that leans into atmosphere and tension. Built around a rounded, deep low end that keeps it smooth while groovy at the same time, Gough’s remix uses the vocals to create space and momentum, culminating in a goosebump-inducing centrepiece.
In contrast, London-based producer, DJ and multi instrumentalist Elena Kulstof remixes ‘Little Thing’ through an indie dance lens, bringing a punchy, high-energy feel to the track while maintaining its melodic core. Driven by a playfully futuristic sound design, Kulstof’s remix feels like the backdrop to an outer space bank heist, with stripped back moments that heighten anticipation before snapping forward into motion. 🪐
Emerging from the incredible grass roots work of @fn_focus_official , @kalia_atawhai was one of the artists who took part in the GRID Series x FN Focus Artist Development Program.

Introducing Chris Barnett aka Barney who is our new Newcastle Program Coordinator.

Returning home to Newcastle in 2014, Chris has spent the better part of 20 years in the back end of industry, touring the country with a plethora of local and international artists as a Tour Manager, Production Manager and FOH/MON engineer, as well as managing production for iconic venues including The Enmore, Metro, and Factory Theatres.
With his values being centred on local community growth and opportunity, Chris became a key member of the team that built BANDAID Bookings and Festivals which morphed into the 100+ band, multi venue West Best Bloc Fest.
Chris shares a passion for nurturing emerging local talent and continues to support the development and creativity of artists across the Newcastle music scene.
"I can't wait to help showcase the depth of Newcastle's music scene to you all, it's a huge passion of mine. I'm excited about helping our town's amazing artists to level up and recognise their own value. Strap in!!"
