🐑 Yesterday was a GREAT day at the The Great Frederick Fair Youth Sheep Workshop!
Beautiful weather, awesome speakers, and lots of hands-on learning for our youth. Participants learned about feed and herd management, shearing, health and medicine practices, showmanship, and proper animal handling.
Thank you to Amy Stephens, Caroline Clark, Aislinn Latham, our superintendents, and everyone who helped make today happen! We love seeing our youth learn, grow, and build their passion for agriculture. 💚

06.09.2024 - at rodeo tierra caliente, i breathed lungs full of dust kicked up by dancing boots. met raul and oreo. sweet cotton candy from mario. flowers bigger than your head and dejected. moved fences. tried not to step in horse manure. i learn of “jaripeo” arrived late and missed the bulls but the dancing and bands as loud as they are doesn’t bother sleeping on this gathering.
