🐰 Who is the grey rabbit?
Since I’ve had a brand refresh I’d like to reintroduce myself.
My name is Emily and I am the owner and designer of Grey Rabbit Design.
I started freelancing in 2007 under a different name I’m too embarrassed to mention (though some may remember) 🤫
I later changed the name, inspired by my rabbit Bobby. The sweetest, stoic soul who shared my life for 10 wonderful years.
Over that time we were lucky enough to have many incredible artists capture him. One gifted painting by @celene.e.bridge then became part of my logo.
Our logo is looking a bit different now, but it’s still Bobby in there ☺️ I was reluctant for the rebrand but our new silhouette allows for the printing techniques I love so much (hello embossing and letterpress!) I will still be sneaking in the original version into our packaging
💙 What about the blue?
This particular shade is my favourite colour ~ I call it hydrangea blue. A shade between periwinkle and dusty blue.
I am a traditionalist when it comes to printed invitations. And I love the idea of being “something blue” for couples planning their special day. I believe some traditions are worth keeping 💌
As seen in
Issue 39 of @hellomaymagazine 🥹💙
I was completely floored to read the kindest feature in my favourite wedding magazine. This issue has just hit newsagents nationally and I am so honored to be within the pages alongside some of the best vendors.

Such a good boy 🖤
We were so lucky to have our beautiful Thom for 10 years. But it still never feels like long enough. He saw us through some of our biggest milestones, the most life changing being the births of our two kids. He was still so patient and gentle even with 1yo hands trying to pat his velvety head - who could blame them. Thank you for being my calm through the chaos, sweet boy.
I hope wherever you are you’re lying in the warm sun with a full belly 🌈✨ #thomthefrenchie
