A sneak peek at the second Right to Remain film project called “We Remain Sovereign”
This upcoming animated short explores how colonial systems in the U.S. impact Native identity, land, movement. This project aims to raise awareness about the unconstitutional targeting of native communities and to educate Native communities about the forms of tribal identification to carry when interacting with ICE.
We were here before borders. Borders crossed us. We are still here.

this will be the last film fest Even Still will be screening at for the time being, I will be posting the film online soon :) so keep an eye out for that.

Hi! long time no post, here is an update on some more film fests that Even Still is playing at! super excited. I am going to be at mspiff so feel free to come and say hi!
my film is also playing at @minnesotafilmfestival on Sunday as part of the minnanimate block! I will be there too.
I'm so happy with all of the places this film has taken me, I feel so grateful for all of the opportunities I have gotten to meet so many great filmmakers.
on jan 3rd we went to @screamitoffscreen to show our short Spaghetti with seeds. Which was so much fun, and we are so excited with about how it went! Huge thanks to everybody who worked on this short, organized the event, and voted for us :)

Wanted to give a huge huge huge thank you to everyone who worked on Even Still, on Wednesday we won runner up for best student film at the Minnesota electronic theater! Super grateful to everybody who made this film possible.

Hi! here's a quick progression reel and some more film festivals my thesis film got into! so grateful to have been showed at TAF and OFN.
If you are able, I'd highly encourage going to the Minnesota Electronic Theater on December 4th and Squish Movie Camp on June 1st if you are in the area.
for those who are wondering when I will make Even Still available publicly, I wasn't expecting the amazing reception this film has gotten, so I will be holding onto it a little bit longer so I can submit it to some more festivals. once I have a more solid release date I will let y'all know. Thank you all so much!
A little animation I made last night that I think turned out super well. I’ve been wanting to practice backgrounds more lately. Might use it in the background of something soon :)
