This release is created and recorded during a residency at "De Bubbel" BRUT Deventer. We would like to thank the people over at @metbrut for providing the space and freedom to experiment and create, this type of workflow and freedom is right up our alley. We wanted to document this moment in time by releasing it on tape and we found out that Harco from Esc.Rec was willing to work with us. This way the music stays in touch with Deventer grounds, thank you Harco.
We also want to give a big shout-out to @poppuntoverijssel for supporting this release with Music Support Overijssel, great stuff!

The first one is 'ochtendnevel' by @grens_053 . This electronics and beats laden journey has a slightly trippy atmosphere and is the result of a residency at De Bubbel @metbrut in Deventer. Released as a purple hand-stamped cassette tape, packaged in handsome hand-folded covers with photography by Maaike Smedes. Also avaiable as a download of course. The second one is 'Soft Ice' by @janneeraker . This mini-album is a new choreographic work by Janne Eraker, with Vilma Kananen, Gaëtan Farnier and Håkon Sigernes (tap dance) and Juhani Silvola (guitar). These recordings have an ASMR-like quality and are released on the premiere date of the dance piece: today! This digital only release comes with iconic artwork by @daanbotlek . And in Norway there is also a very ltd. amount of handcut vinyl by Janne Eraker 😊

De live shows van |grens| zorgen vanaf het eerste moment voor een mysterieuze sfeer. Met gemak wisselen ze een duik in de diepte af met een pittig recept voor de dansvloer. De mix van crunchy drums, lo-fi pads, knetterende sequences en spacy effecten zorgen voor een authentieke sound en gruizige performance. Nadat ze eind 2021 hun eerste album “geen mens die op mij let” op cassette uit hebben gebracht volgden er meerdere digitale singles en een selectie bij Nieuwe Electronische Waar. Inmiddels is er ook een vinyl album op het label Enfant Terrible / Vrystaete.
