The Clown opening page for 2000AD annual 1992. The Clown was created by my long time friend Rob Bliss, and whose work on the The Clown was genuinely remarkable. I was 21 when I did this and I remember this strip giving me the chance to experiment with acrylic and anatomy, something I've tried to carry on into my work to this day. Great character, wish he was around today..#2000ad #comicart #acrylicart
Star City Angel I did for Star City Games. Star City Games is the world’s leading TCG retailer and event organizer—best known as the largest Magic: The Gathering store, with a huge inventory and a reputation for top-tier service. They have been good to me over the years and I was delighted to do this piece for them. Acrylic on art board 2015. #angel #starcitygames #mtg #fantasyart
There are certain things in life where timing is everything, as with this 2000AD cover I did to my strip Judge Dredd:Dark Justice. What was intended to be a darkly scary horror cover landed on the Christmas issue..needless to say people were kinda bummed out by it! Lol, I had no idea when I painted it when it would be published or maybe I’d have done something a bit more..Christmasy. Still, it was a real honour working on that book with the great John Wagner and one of my proudest achievements. #judgedredd #2000ad #judgedeath #comiccovers
Please forgive the off art topic, but I did a spot of modelling for my personal trainer and good friend @hewitt.luke who been a fantastic motivator in between my busy life. I’m also a big believer that enjoying a good, full life filters its way into your art..I think I learned that from Frank Frazetta! #lukehewittfitness
Boris Karloff as Frankenstein, acrylic 2010’s. This painting started an interesting snowball which led onto me working officially with Universal and with Hammer films. It was done for my own pleasure as a way of pushing my own boundaries with the medium, but through sheer chance it got noticed and I’m forever grateful for that bit of serendipity. #universalmonsters #frankenstein #boriskarloff #acrylicartistsofinstagram

Acrylic 2012. This was originally done as a comic cover but for whatever reason it wasn’t used, so I added the flaming skull and turned him into Ghost Rider..why not? #comicart #comiccover #ghostrider
