A few months back I went up to Kremmling, CO to spend an afternoon with Ryan Trippiccho and the West Grand Cross Country team he coaches. Ryan was nominated for the Brooks Inspiring Coaches Program and it was heartwarming seeing his team and how much they enjoyed practice. Afterward, he took me to a couple of the amazing trails they get to use for training.

Legion of LA put on a show last night at the @littleton.twilight.crit and took 1st place in both races. The rain picked up during the men’s pro race. Water was everywhere, coming down from the sky and flying up off the tires. Congratulations to @sky_schneider_ and @nationsnumber1beast on the victories.
@altitudesports wanted coverage of Hillary Allen training in the new Vectiv from The North Face. We tried to shoot in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado but ran into bad weather. We rescheduled for Santa Barbara but had more complications. Finally we made it to Moab, UT and it was amazing.

October 20, 2020 - I drove by Dodger Stadium this morning on my way to work to see if I could get a nice picture. This should be the site of the World Series starting tonight, instead it’s a COVID test center. Security told me to turn around and leave, this is the best picture I got.

The first time I saw the Divas of Compton was a halftime performance at a basketball game in Venice Beach. I was amazed by so many things; their energy and emotion, the dedication at such an early age, their confidence, it was awesome watching them. I attended one of their competitions last year, RepYoCity and these are some images from that day. I imagine these girls will grow up to be strong, independant, supportive and dedicated, as they’ve been learning all these things in Divas. I see these images and think of my own daughters who love to dance and perform, and I think of the parents of these girls who must love and care for them the way I love and care for mine, but it’s impossible for me to imagine the same fears and worries they must have right now. It’s sickening that anyone should have to worry about being Black. I have hope in the future, we can do better. #BlackLivesMatter #BLM
