I’ve been a follower of Christ my whole life. My relationship with God has not been a straight line, it has been a bumpy road with ups and downs. Times where I don’t put him in the center of my life and times where he is all I think about. I have been someone who has always had a personal relationship with God. Turning to him through the good and bad through prayer. But, I have always felt like I was unworthy of being Baptized. That my imperfections, insecurities, and weaknesses won’t be accepted… scared to be seen as a hypocrite. I’ve learned that God accepts us all how we come and loves us exactly how we are. No one is perfect and we all have our own temptations, battles that we face on a day to day basis. Only with Christ are we able to fight off these temptations and overcome our battles. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to publicly declare my commitment to following Jesus Christ through it all and taking this next step in my faith. I say all that to say that the journey continues and I would like to thank my family at @901church and @thevuememphis for welcoming me with open arms and joining this journey with me. God Bless 🙏🏽
