In case you missed it, legendary band Primus included my drum audition video in their Interstellar Drum Derby “tip of the cap” episode 11 that recognized the top 15 or so drummers that almost made the cut for the in-person audition. I am beyond honored that Les Claypool & Larry LaLonde gave an honorable mention to my performance out of over 6000+ drummers worldwide and as a lifelong fan of Primus, this is truly a dream come true.

I have to thank my older brother Jeff who reviewed my initial video, gave me some key pointers that obviously helped get noticed out of the pack. Also, my good friend bassist Raj Prasad in Berlin who hit me up immediately when the newest Primus episode released.
Additionally, to the 50+ friends, fans & colleagues who tagged me in the Primus audition or sent me a message saying “ you should do this”
Well, I did it and got very close! It is not outside the realm pf possibilities that I will have the opportunity to work with these legends of amazing music in a possible future side project.
It feels pretty good to be recognized by a band you grew up listening to.
