5 years ago today, our third daughter Poppy was born. We soon realised she had Autism and feared the challenges this would bring. During the short time she has been alive, she has taught us so much about ourselves and others, showed us how to love unconditionally, laugh uncontrollably and live every day in its own merits. We’ve learned that we’re a Neuro-spicy household and that’s ok. She has been the topic of so many conversations with strangers and helped to spread awareness and understanding day by day. The support from our family and friends has been overwhelming and Poppy has most certainly been “raised by the village”. Not to mention her amazing primary school who have been a rock through all of the stormy seas.
I cannot wait to see what the next phase of your life brings and what you have in store for us. Never change, Pop-pops. Happy 5th Birthday. We love you so much 🥰 #justkeepstimming

So…. After some time away from Slimming World I managed to put my weight back on, so I was back where I started last time when I re-joined last week. However, I’m very pleased to say that I lost half a stone in my first week back, with the amazing support of Emma Louise Claridge and of course the guidance of Dominic Foster. Feels awesome to be back 😌
