The orange T-Tex stood at the Saugus mini golf & batting cages on route 1 from 1960 until it closed in 2016. Saved by a developer, it continues to watch over route 1 on the very same site.

The groundhog saw his shadow…🥶
Yep, that’s 6 more weeks of winter ❄️
But honestly, that just means 6 more weeks of making cool art at Essex Art Center.
This Groundhog Day, we took over the Dragon Creativity Lab and made custom stickers from start to finish. Designed by one of our instructors @greg_orfanos , cut on the Cricut, and laminated for that perfect pro finish.
And guess what?
This is exactly the kind of thing you can learn to make in our winter classes, which are still open for registration! So if winter’s sticking around, you might as well get creative with it. 🎨✂️
