Based in Coningsby Lincolnshire, the BBMF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) is an experienced team of pilots and engineers who are responsible for keeping these aircraft in the sky.
.
Back in the early 90's my dad was part of this team as a flight engineer on the Lancaster Bomber. I specifically remember a day when a camera crew turned up to film my dad and the rest of the aircrew.

30 years later and I'm now the one working closely with these fantastic planes and amazing crew, although I chose to be the camera operator instead!
