Gym/physique update - after 2 months of cutting, and nearly 7 years of lifting, this is where I'm at. It's been a bit of a rough cut, with my mood all over the place, but ultimately I'm very happy with the results.
If you're interested in specifics - during the cut, my diet has consisted of around 2100 calories a day, while weight lifting 3/4x a week, and running 10-16km 2/3x a week. On days I run, I'll allow myself an extra 50% of the calories I burned. For macros, I'm aiming for roughly 160g protein, 210g carbs, 70g fat.
My plan going forward is to commit to a serious bulk phase, and then try a slightly longer cut (up to 3 months) leading into summer. We'll see how the year shakes out.
