New Videos is up. This spring cleanup turned into one of the hardest jobs we’ve taken on since starting SideHustle Mowing. This Ozark property had been buried under 2 to 3 years of leaves, overgrowth, and neglect. The homeowner’s late husband was a master gardener who used to keep the place looking incredible, but after losing him, keeping up with everything became overwhelming. She finally gave us the opportunity to help bring the property back to life. For the first two full days, all we did was move leaves. Some areas beside the house had piles nearly 2 to 3 feet deep. We burned through batteries so fast we had to start charging equipment while still working just to keep going. And of course this day turned into complete chaos. We lost microphones multiple times. Jessica nearly went off the side wall. I thought something was wrong with the mower for way too long. Turns out I forgot to push the blade button down. This property was brutal on equipment. Because there were so many leaves covering the ground, the grass underneath was practically gone. We were hitting hidden rocks, dirt, sticks, and debris all day long. We completely ruined a full set of mower blades on this cleanup alone. One hidden rock bent the blades hard enough you could still see the damage after changing them out. And honestly the grass flap on the Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ had the hardest workout of its life. I was watching that thing bouncing around from rocks flying underneath the deck all day long, and it kept doing its job. Out here in the Ozarks where sometimes there’s more dirt and rocks than grass, that flap is essential. Yes I’m an ambassador for Greenworks Commercial now, but I bought and used their equipment long before any partnership happened. I wouldn’t attempt these kinds of cleanups out here without it. This is Part 1 of one of the biggest spring cleanup transformations we’ve tackled so far in our side hustle journey.

Corporate might call it a “multi-functional fastening solution”
we just call it getting it done đŸ”‹đŸ› ïž #powertools #greenworks #translation #powertools

Backwoods Arkansas Cleanup Mode đŸ”„ More dirt, dust, rocks, and sticks than grass out here. Running the Greenworks Commercial OptimusZ 60” paired with the GrassFlap to handle these rough Ozark-style cleanups. When you’re mowing in the backwoods, the GrassFlap isn’t optional — it’s a must with everything getting thrown around.

First time having all the Greenworks Commercial mowers in the trailer at the same time with everything finally mounted up on the walls. We just added the extra Equipment Defender backpack blower rack and the chainsaw racks, so the trailer is probably about 95% complete now. Honestly pretty wild seeing it all together like this. Two and a half years ago, I never thought we’d even be doing landscaping, let alone building a company and having a setup like this. And on top of that, getting to be ambassadors for brands we genuinely love like Greenworks Commercial and GrassFlap makes it even cooler. Very thankful for the opportunities and for the equipment we get to run every day. Next step might be outfitting the trailer with solar and figuring out a long-term charging setup. Maybe a Greenworks Commercial Cube, maybe something else. Still figuring that part out. But for now, it’s pretty awesome seeing the whole setup finally come together.
