I wanted to leave it for a few days whilst lots of posts were going up about @greenoverhead closing it’s doors due to founder Dan Maker retiring from the business, but I wanted to put my two cents in as well We often think of businesses as simply money making machines that don’t truly care about their customers - many times that’s true but it couldn’t be further from the truth with Dan and @greenoverhead - such a lovely bunch of people with excellent high value products and even higher ethics! Will miss you all so much, but will 💯 stay in touch. Dan thanks for everything brother - hope we see each other in the water or on the snow very soon! ❤️ Also a massive thanks to @elliecakes_tm for being such a legend with the Insta part of the business and being the smiliest person you will ever meet! Guys - checkout @greenoverhead one last time to get the last available surf products at crazy prices before the doors are finally shut.

It’s been one hell of a journey.
We want to thank all of you: the local guys who keep our surf scene going and use our business, the brands we work with, team riders who represent their respective style of surfing and our products, of course you guys aka the customers who we’ve kitted out for countless trips and adventures (making some friends in the process), the wavepool crew, the boatrip boys, the frothers, groms, even the saltybarnacles, but finally of course the team who kept all this going grinding out tough times and staying humble in the high ones, especially founder Dan who has done countless kind deeds and believed in so many, myself included.
We will see you all in the lineup!
