NYC —> FLA | June 2020
The juxtaposition of the pandemic in New York to the beaches in Florida was a shock to the system to say the least. The fresh air and sunshine was needed more than ever and it was then that I knew we had made the right call.
Getting out of the city even just for a short time would be worth the effort, but little did we know just how long this adventure would last.
Which is your favorite? 1, 2 or 3?
How has it already been a year since this all began?
Seeing the city like this was difficult to comprehend at the time. A place so vibrant and boundless quickly became claustrophobic.
And after 80 days of quarantining in our NYC apartment, we left everything we knew behind. We had no plan and absolutely no idea of what we were about to experience. But we took a chance! We LET GO of everything standing in our way and it was the best decision we could have ever made.
This will be a small glimpse into how we’ve spent this unexpected gift of time.
