DF Fans! Today, April 22nd, 2026, is Earth Day. While a lot of us are keeping the earth healthy as best as we possibly can, it is important to note that Earth Day is meaningful to us as individuals. If we weren't on Earth, then where would we end up? One of those likelihood possibilities is that we end up in heaven after Earth, but yet we dont know what heaven looks like. Our newest album, "Ship Me to Heaven", is not just meant to be any album with tunes to it. It's also meant to tell a compelling story towards anyone in general that is currently seeing heaven now. This person that battled through much in order to live passed away and is now on the other side of Earth that we have yet to experience. With the battles that this person went through, we still take note that he/she is in a better place now in heaven. The eight song album, "Ship Me to Heaven" (which includes the 9 minute title track), is the most memorable album to us because of the story and the immense amount of hard work we all put into this, especially when we did all of the in house recording, mixing and mastering ourselves. DF FANS!!! The next single releasing from our upcoming album, "Ship Me to Heaven", is the fourth song, "Abandon Ship"! This track is one of the two climax songs to our concept album, and it has the similar level of adrenaline that "Inship" gives with adding a faster tempo! The song explains how if anyone has mentally or physically faced a battle that they did not want to go through: they were tough, they faced their fears, but they could only last through the challenges for so long that sometimes they just need to "Abandon Ship". Fighting for your life can be extremely difficult with numerous hurdles to face at any moment, and we show our respects to the people that have lost their loved ones and families due to an internal battle that couldn't be physically controlled. We encourage everyone to stay safe no matter what and enjoy this new single as part of our new album! The important matter is that we achieved our goal and are sucessfully making this album the most magical progressive metal album that anyone will ever listen to! The song names in this album are identical and are intended to be the humorous side of this album. However, this tells a VERY serious story too on how anyone in particular faced battled (either health related, physically or mentally), acquired allies to help regain strength and fight the demons, but ultimately falls and is sent to Heaven. The important matter to this story is that whoever is sent to Heaven is in a much better place. This story mainly reaches out to my Uncle Bill that had passed in 2014 due to lung cancer, but this story could also relay anyone else that has faced health related issues as well. More of this story will be shared on podcasts and interviews starting in January of 2026!
