Today marks exactly 2 weeks of being alive.
I should be dead.
2 weeks ago I had a severe heart attack. I had 100% blockage. Widow maker.
We were out on the boat dealing with some anchoring issues. There was a very minimal chance that I would ever be here today.
Kimberly acted like a boss and kept her cool and saved my life. So much love for this woman! Best thing to ever happen to me.
Kimberly kept me calm. She called the marina and the lady there called the police boat. They rushed me to Jefferson and within an hour and a half or so I was on the operating table. A stent was put in and saved my life.
I was down to the minutes and could feel it closing in on me. Never been that close to death and I knew it.
Very grateful for the men on the Philly police force who shot out and picked me up. Grateful for the lady in the ambulance who took me seriously. And overly grateful for all of the staff at Jefferson University Hospital that saved my life.
Thank you to everyone who has said prayers and come to visit me.
An entirely new approach to life and the appreciation of it is now underway.
Please go check your blood pressure and get your annual labs done. You don't ever want to feel the pain I felt.
Take the time to slow down today until two people that you love them. They need to hear it.
