Been playing with the DIYRE colour format for about a year now. A very fun and creative system. While nearly all of my mixing process is ITB, I still print mixes through these 3 modules in series:
1. TM79 multi stage saturation. A little goes a long way.
2. 15ips “tape”.
3. And lastly the “Red 25” - an API 2520 inspired discrete op amp.
Lots of complex analog harmonics and satisfyingly tactile :). Rad company, cost-friendly, excuse to use a soldering iron. @diyrecordingequipment
Piecing together a board for these upcoming @movmou shows.
The @walrusaudioeffects Fundamental Ambient pedal was used on every song from the recent record. @bondieffects Sick As OD for gain. First time in 20+ years I won’t be carrying my Twin around (the ACS1 simulating a Deluxe Reverb is saving my lower back from years of abuse). Probably will clean the cables up underneath (I won’t), and replace the patch cables (I will!) Trying to keep things simple and easy enough.
