10 years of being in a bookclub with the absolute best ladies in the biz.
It’s hard to sum up how important this friend group has become to all of us. What started as a simple bookclub has blossomed into some of the deepest friendships I have known. What a joy it is to read books, challenge ourselves, share our stories, be silly (and serious), and grow together.

I feel sick to my stomach. I feel overwhelmed with sadness. I feel full of rage.
I have seen report after report of people ripped off the street, out of their cars, out of their homes. I have seen reports of children detained.
Now I have seen video of two peaceful legal observers murdered. Shot dead on the street. Exercising their constitutional rights and given the ultimate punishment for it. And this administration insists that they were domestic terrorists. A label so easily applied to anyone who dares to resist them. It feels like only a matter of time before we are all labeled domestic terrorists.
What an absolute nightmare.

Really enjoying doing these yearly recap drawings. They help me see the threads in a year. And, while 2025 surely had its challenges—both including the immense distress felt every time I read the news and on a personal level, it was also a year overflowing with good connections and happy moments.
So much so that I felt there were too many to try to represent here! 2025 was a full year and I’m always grateful for the great people I get to spend my time with!
I’m still wary of putting too much pressure and hope onto the start of a year, but I feel good about continuing to deepen the relationships I have and build upon my own growth. Happy 2026, y’all!
