How was your July 4 vacation? It rained basically the whole time so I spent it giving the #basement a makeover! It’s pretty #DIY but the goal was to brighten up the walls, add moisture resistant flooring, and make the space usable. Ping pong 🏓 anyone?!

Months of #design and planning went into the room, lots of #furniture was meticulously ordered and deliveries tracked. And yet we still encountered quite a few surprises. The electrician canceled our appointment, our ladder wasn’t tall enough to paint all the way up, Wayfair sent the wrong sofa, etc. But we made do!
