The “Gray” from Gray Ops made an appearance at the @mkm_precision Steel Challenge today and took 17th place. So proud of this kid taking everything he’s learned on his trips to the range with me and applying it in a match. On the last stage, he centered a 66% IPSC at 1000 yards holding 0.8 mils right wind, all on his own, spotting his shots and making corrections. Of course, we had to celebrate with a Mt. Dew and sandwich from Sheetz afterwards 😎

We’re at the Great American Outdoor Show checking out the KI Precision @grayopscnc booth, where Dave Preston shows us the AF-100 Auto Fill 100 - an automation system for powder reloading. We learn how this device works with popular powder systems like Auto-Trickler and Ingenuity, automatically filling cases with powder, seating bullets, and handling reject cases. We discuss the adjustable accuracy settings (minus .02 to plus .02), the removable 100-round tray system, and how it accommodates calibers from .223 up to .338 Lapua with interchangeable powder funnels and bullet droppers.
Fun fact - even though it’s 2 degrees outside, we won’t need any heat tonight with the machines running. They produce enough heat to hold temp at 68 inside. 🤟🏻
